A fast efficient algorithm for enhancement of low lighting video

摘要We propose a fast effective video enhancement algorithm for low lighting video. We invert and dehaze the low-lighting video to obtain the clearer quality. To facilitate faster computation, we import motion estimation (ME) making use of temporal correlations among subsequent frames from video coding algorithm to accelerate the proposed video enhancement algorithm for low lighting video via accelerating the calculations of key algorithm parameters. The clearer video after enhancement illustrates the good effect of the proposed algorithm and the accelerated algorithm can process more than 25 frames per second. ? 2010 Binary Information Press.
